Contacted one seller and asked if his radio would work on my 1950 truck with an original 6 volt system. He said it would with a $55 converter he would sell me. I know nothing about electrical, so can it be done? I think $55 is way too much for an electrical component these days, so I'm asking you guys how I can use a new 12 volt radio with the original 6 volt system I have?
P.S. I want to keep my 6 volt system.
