Jon - Thanks for the reply and the date code info. I poked around on the internet and found a number of references to the "Rochester Products Division" of General Motors. But I didn't find anything related to Carter. If the "C" carbs where produced by Chevy (at their Bay City plant) maybe the "RPD" carbs where produced by GM at another location?
