| | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,845 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,845 | I just replaced my rear main seal and only had to disconnect the U-joint (within the ball housing), slide it back enough to allow the driveline to drop down. Once down far enough to clear the back end of the tranny, pull the U-Joint, ball collar of the end of the driveline and then raised it until it touched the bottom side of the floor board.
Pulled the tranny and did my thing.
