Thanks, actually it came out of a 1948 6400 truck. I had the block checked out and
machined. It will be put in my '46 6400 with solid lifters. I reused the cam which was in excellent shape. My biggest question now is: did you get that detail from the
3 A 139 on block? If so, please explain how the code works or point me to where I can understand this stuff. You see, I thought the B in the code by the distributor indicated the block being a truck block. Just trying to understand. Thanks so much.
