For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 1,388 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 1,388 | So, I'm about to put my darn 235 back together. I've even gone all out and bought some federalmogual assembly lube for the bearings. Do I want to use this stuff on the rings and cylinders, or should I just be using motor oil on the rings and cylinders? I'm using chrome faced NOS Chev rings, if that makes any difference, I dunno, I'm out of my element. I do know the packages for the rings say I don't even need to "Glaze-bust". I figure I should give 'em a little hone anyway.
Thanks everybody. | | | |
