It is a high-pressure engine. "Full-flow" usually refers to a full-flow oil filer, as opposed to a by-pass oil filter. The 58-63 261 had a full flow oil filter.
A 1954 261 engine is a great choice for your 1953 truck. Just swap the clutch housings and install it. You will notice the difference in power. | | |
