I bought a RainGear system from Pacific Western Design for my '59, and it literally took me all of 30 minutes to install, and it's great. I've had no clearance issues, and it's run smoothely. Granted, in SoCal, it doesn't rain much, but since I installed it, I've already had to use it twice, once in very heavy rain, and it worked like a charm. No more Rain-X and a prayer for me!
