Noticed while cleaning up frame of my 55 2nd series that rear spring shackle did not seem square. It looked as though threaded part not threaded into bushing. I attempted to lift frame , drop shock, loosen center bolt and inspect and replace rubber washers. End plates did not remove easily like I thought they should and thought to throw question out here as to how to disassemble.
