Well, my son and I have FINALLY started working on restoring the truck I learned to drive in, a 55 Chevy series 2.
I joined this forum because I'm a software developer, not a mechanic and I'm going to need all the advice I can get! We have the truck torn down to the frame and I'm just waiting to get the 250 engine sold so that we can remove the front/rear end and have the frame dipped. I'm putting on a new front/rear end and dropping a 350 into it. Obviously, we're not going original and I'm sure that once I get to decision of tranny, rear, etc. I'll need help from the experts. Hopefully, that's where you will all come in!
