| | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 408 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 408 | 1977 chevy stepside. I swapped out the 305 and original 400th trans and put in a 350 350th trans. ( BE CLEAR I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS MUCH BY MYSELF BEFORE) engine runs great trans shifts smooth but wont gear down. I put on an edlebrock performer intake and a holley 900 4 bbl carb. I had to add a bracket for the throttle cable and trans cable that came with the carb kit. do i need to adjust the trans cable or am i missing something?? any and all suggestuons welcome. Paul | | |
