I just discovered a new leak on my 1950 3/4 ton. There is fluid leaking from the drive shaft where it mounts to the frame. Since this is a 3/4 ton, it has an open drive train. However, the front half of the drive shaft seems to be close while the back half is open.
Since the drive shaft appears to be a two piece, I assume there is a bearing where the shaft mounts to the frame and this is where it is leaking.
Can anyone give me help on how to fix this and tell me how difficult it is?
