My light switch has two parking light terminals, one for the front and a second for the rear. Guess I'll splice it into the front parking lights.
There also is one terminal that is only "hot" when the knob is pulled out to the running light position and goes out when the headlights are selected....
the front lights are the "park" lights, the rears are "tail" lights .... when in what you're calling the "running light position" [the "parking light position" in our pre-running light era vehicles] the park AND tail lights are on - in the headlight [or "driving light"] position, the headlights and tail lights are on, the park lights [front] are not
