According to Jon's very complete list of Carter YF carburetors produced for use on
Chevrolets the; 2100s was an aftermarket manual choke for use on a 235 engine
1953~1956. So an unmolested 2100s is the correct carb for a 235 Chevy.
As Jon said, you’ve got a carburetor that was backyard engineered and the seller unloaded
it on you. In other words, someone swapped the bases from an earlier YF somewhere
back in the day so they could use it on a 216.
