Hey everybody
I'm just starting on a 49 project. I'm going to build a daily driver, and like everyone else, $5.00 a gal gas is a concern. I have a 283, and was thinking about mating it to a T-5, or a T-56 transmission. Just wondered if anyone else has tried this combination. I'm not wanting a hot rod truck, just something that has decent power, and I can afford to drive on the highway. Your thoughts?
