**EDIT - I get the same measurements (well I actually got 31.25" between the 2 inner bolts). It appears to me that the 62 stepside rear bumper actually IS the same as the 63 - 66 stepside bumpers. The bumper brackets are different for the 62 because the frame is wider. Since I have a set of correct rear brackets for a 65 stepside, I should be able to bolt it right on. That makes me VERY HAPPY! dance
