There is alot of info in the tech section & previous posts on this. There is an adapter out now to handle the water pump difference. All your bell housing clutch & trans. fit from the old engine. You will need to change rear ends to drive at highway speeds. The 1 ton is geared really low. You can find a center section from a 69-72 with 4.11 gears & use large tires.
