| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | the problem is the originals were cheap cast pot metal, as are the cheap Chinese repros, and when the cables start seizing up folks reef on the lever and snap it ..... the Golden State repros are stamped steel and hold up way better .... some vendors offer both, some just the cheapies don't fall for the lowest price Bill | | |
