I like the idea of using a more modern truck frame. . .what if you took a '80's or '90's frame and cut a section out of all the crossmembers, then welded them back together? You could achieve the proper track width on the front suspension, then get a rear axle to fit. The steering linkage would need some attention too. Anything I'm missing?
