Hi all - did something totally amateur tonight and ordered a gasket set for my 235 engine, but the 49 version (as I was on the 1949 section on Rockauto.com)
Hours later I realized the error or my ways and that my 235 is actually a 1954 / 55.
HOPING the set was the same I checked the Felpro# on rockauto and it was indeed different. Called Rockauto and of course, its already shipped. Bugger.
I can return it but have to pay shipping etc...
Can anyone tell me if these sets are remotely compatible or should I just cut my losses and order the correct set.
