#82452 09/04/2007 2:56 AM | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 42 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 42 | tommy your truck does have a distributor cap and rotor. the new ones look kind of funny but never the less some where in that mess of sensors and wiring is a distributor. i was thinking that it wouldnt have one because they have crank shaft possition sensors now a days but i looked on gm dealer world (gm technical web site i use at work) and it showed that there was a distributor and rotor. hope that is helpfull. one thing i do know is that gm only recomends replacment of the plugs every 100k miles. (i am not gm though,.. as we say at work.. they are in the market to sell you a new car,... we are here to keep your current car on the road) | | |
