| | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 | A wire wheel doesn't leave the 'bite' 80 grit does for the paint to adhere to. Wire wheel works good for removing stuff but sanding is still called for. Epoxy wants a minimum of 180 grit to bite into.
