I'm gettting close to being done with the rebuild on my 248 gmc, and my engine guy says that he thinks I'm missing something in the bottom of my oil filter canister. I don't recall there being anything in the bottom of it, but it seems there should be a spring or washer or something to keep the filter off the bottom of the canister. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help.
