Update: We mounted our spare tire. It is 17.5 x 8 on an orginal 1957 GM 8 lug. We will be putting on the same tire on the rest of the truck in the next couple of weeks. Here are a few pictures:

This is our original, 1957 GMC 150 factory installed NAPCO long bed complete with a 270 and Braden PTO winch. In August of 2010, while cruising around in our 57 Chevy 1/2 ton, we found her sitting in a field underneath a fruit tree in Citrus Heights, Ca. We did a knock and talk at the door and found she had been parked there for over 15 years. Long story short we made an offer and before we left she was ours. In February of 2011 we started a full frame off nut and bolt restoration. Not one piece of her as been left untouched. As of today’s date (1/26/2012) with the help of Omar Lugo of Lugo Parts and Restoration she is approximately 95% restored to her show room originality.
