Scrub the frame on the drivers side between the firewall and radiator support and you may find the plant code and serial number. If you do not and you buy the truck purchase a number/ letter stamp kit like they sell at harbor freight and stamp the number on the frame.
You will find no numbers like that on a 1954 Chevrolet truck.
Furthermore, if the engine number does not match the title that needs to be corrected through proper channels. Stamping the number from the title onto the frame is asking for trouble.
