Well Dave, I'm not gone yet. I discovered that the noise I'm hearing is the lifters starting to colapse. I don't hear anything in the bottom of the engine. I drained the oil tonite and will drop the pan tomorrow and remove a couple of caps to see what we have. All things considered, I'd prefer to keep the 6 in there.
