Fluid Film. I always call it sheep-spray. I've always pictured a Loney-Tunes type factory, where sheep go in one side, and chops and fluid film comes out the other side.
If you've never seen Fluid Film, or used it, its got lanolin in it. I use it to coat my steel clamps when exposed to salt water. In fact, I've had clamps in the ocean for a month at a time, with no corrosion. It does smell funny though! Good stuff.
To keep this vaguely stovebolt related.... Outside behind my garage, languishing under a tarp, is my spare 216 motor. I know its' preserved, as I coated it with fluid film three years ago!
