I have a 52 3100 and it is slightly different. It has a round shape on the end of that bracket that the cable goes through. Then a pinch bolt to lock it in place. So I guess there are different types out there. Probably changed with the year model. I actually need the other end that is bolted to the backing plate. It also has that round shape for the cable to go through. Yours may be different since the other end is different.
