Hello, This should help. The Mains bearing journal should be 2.2983-2.2993. Taper and out of round is just .0002. Crankshaft main bearing clearance is 0.0003-0.0029. End play is .002-.006. Rod bearing clearance is 0.0007-0.0027. Crankpin diameter is 1.928-2.000 Taper new wear 0.0003 +/_ 0.001. This is from a Clymer Chevy and GMC repair manual. Just had one rebuilt by a great machine shop. Can't wait to put it in m full size pick up. Bored .040, mild cam, 1.84 on the intakes, balanced, boss honed intake ports, decked block and milled head. Plus Moly rings and low dished pistons. Have an Offy 4bbl manifold with a new Holley 600 cfm carb, MSD and probably Fenton Headers with 3" Magnaflow exhaust for good flow but quiet with the large muffler. Should be a runner.
