Way to go Kurt. I rebuilt the original Rochester on my '53 but just couldn't get it to run right...always had a bad flat spot. The 235 still had the 216 manifold so I found a 235 manifold with a 2100S attached. Except for a little surface rust the carb looked good inside and out so I thought I would try it without rebuilding it. I got the manifold and carb re-assembled, fired up the engine and it runs MUCH better with the Carter...amazing.

The 2100S has two ports on the bottom of the throttle body. Were you able to find a gasket that cleared both or did the one get covered up? I went ahead and cut an opening for the left one.
