The valve cover is original. In 1953 the 235 Powerglide engine still used the two stud cover.
I will have to look at the horn installation in the morning. The engine is out of a '53 car, which had the horns up by the radiator.I think the manifold had the boss for the horn mount, and I may have drilled it for the horn. This was about 40 years ago....
