Most Spot Welds are 1/4" or 5/16" welds now if you use a 3/8" Cutter you cut around the weld and it makes it easier to cut sheet metal verses hard weld material. It makes it so much eaiser when replacing the rocker panels too. The cutter I like to use is the Blair double cut blade with mandral so when one cutting blade wears out you just use the other cutting blade. Another thing I use is a spring Loaded Center Punch on the weld center before starting to cut out the weld. Here is a little trick to make the blades last longer I use Crisco Shortening to lube the blades and keep the cutter teeth cool makes them last just a little longer it is also good for hole saw blades too just pack the hole saw before cutting.
