in addition to it's natural tight fit in the vertical channel, originally there were some small sheet metal clips that stab into the back of it and wedge into it's track at the top of the door, not available repro that I've seen, you need to salvage them from your old felt run - also need to cut it to a very tight fit for length so it's wedged between the bottom end and the division post
