I have a standard 3 speed and two 3 speed overdrives with the casting number 8845122. On yours the 6 could be a 5. In which case you have a SM318 GM trans with a BW R-10 overdrive. They have a 4 bolt side cover and a non syncro first gear. This trans was used from 55 through 65. There are some minor differences between cars and trucks. On the trucks the lower mount holes are threaded. There are also some differences on the side cover and the shift arms. There should be a date code below the casting number. Something like B 15 7 which would be Feb 15 1957.
