For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 319 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 319 | Engine serial number: F = Flint, MI 06 = June 24 = day of month TAB = C10,K10,C20,K20 http://www.73-87.com/7387info/engineid.htm (link to "TAB") Engine "VIN" T = not sure. Examples I've seen start with numbers. "1" is Chevrolet. 4 = year. (74' since you already know it is a 70's block) F = Flint, MI (place vehicle was assembled) 728072 = last 6 numbers of vehicle VIN repeated on the block. Hope this helps.
