I added my '57 lcf to the above post. Its a 5700 with a 2 speed rear. It has a
replacement block which is a 327 ci. the truck came from a Chevrolet Dealership in the Sierra Nevada's California. They must have used it to run parts. Like I said the body is almost perfect. I haven't driven it much as it did not run when I got it. I put a new intake, carb and distributor on it and fired it up. I put radial tires with later model wheels (Ford) on it. When I have driven it the cab is cramped compared to a conventional cab but it runs out real good at 60 mph.
