64Fleetside, it was pure dumb luck. I couldn't identify either of the engines from the pictures of the vehicles. Because of the shape of the valve cover on Dumpy, and the front mounted oil filler, I had almost convinced myself that it was a late model 292. That would have been great because I wouldn't have to worry about fabricating a motor mount, and I already have one 292, thanks to Scott. So I could have driven the truck long enough to get one engine rebuilt and do a quick swap.
Oh well.
Scott, when is the Kansas City meet? I'd like to go and I'm pretty sure my wife would also.
