I borrowed this photo from Jim Carter's web site, but it shows where the primary wiring goes through the firewall.
After it leaves the cab through the fire wall, one leg runs down under the cab inside the driver side frame rail... all the way to the driver side tail light. The other leg runs along the driver's side inner fender across the back side of the radiator to the passenger side inner fender.

Does that make sense?
