Just wondering what other folks with panels or suburbans of the late 30s to 40s vintage have done to get double brake lights/turn lights in the back?
My 1937 panel came without the light mount on the left bar door. Jim Carter sells a 37-38 barn door light mount, so I was wondering if two (one on each door) would work to get double brake and turn lights, or if it would be better to keep the single light on the door and go with additional lights outboard, mounted on the body on either side of the doors.
It appears that 1939 passenger car "bullet" lights were used on later panels/burbs (along with the single barn door light). Would these work OK for 37-38? I have some extra 1937-38 passenger car light assemblies that probably could be adapted to fit on the body as another alternative.
