Hey guys,

I'm real ignorant when it comes to this stuff, so please bear with me.

I own a 47 gmc 1/2 ton, and am considering changing rear ends (you may have seen my other question here in this section)

if I were to take out my torque tube, do you need to change any thing a the output of the transmission . special seals? any thing wierd?

I too, would like to keep the 6 lug hubs for the tall skinny tires.

I have a 1967 chev 1/2 ton I am using for parts, it has a 6 lug pattern, would that pattern be the same as my 46 GMC?
