New guy from Montana. Here are some pictures of the 58 Apache I am going to update. We have owned this truck since the 70's. It was originally a calcium chloride truck that the Cenex station used to fill tractor tires. My dad traded another truck for this one and built the wood bed and added a hoist. I am going to replace the wood bed with a steel bed, replace the hoist and go throught the whole truck. New wiring, brakes, rebuilt engine, transmission the works. It was originally a 6 cylinder truck but someone swapped in a 307? V-8. I am going to replace the 307? with a 327. Here are a couple of photos of the truck along side of a 1952 REO E-20, in our shop. I will add more as I do the rebuild.
