I just replaced my windshield rubber in my 58. I also got mine from LMC. I took the back window out and cleaned and primed everything but when I started to go back with the glass it just did not want to go in. I finally called a guy who has done glass work for me on oyher cars.When he installed that glass with the seal he had to hit that glass so hard I thought it would break. He did a nice job for $100.00 and it has not leaked at all. Good luck with your install I hope it all goes in real easy.
