Hey everyone. I've been kinda trolling around this site for a bit but just signed up. I have a 51 chev 4400 that I rescued from a farmers field near Arlington. Came with 50 years worth of maint receipts and a bit of cool history. The old girl was sitting for quite some time when I picked her up. But a bit of fuel, fresh battery and points cleaned got her running and ended up driving her 50 or so miles back to the house. She started life in the military, later moving to a school district for half a century which kept very detailed maintenance reports. I drive her nearly every day, and with only 75,000 original miles I recon she has alot of life to give still.
