Ken is absolutely right. There is another stovebolter who has the name SixPack. He was here before me. Didn't realize anyone else had that name until it was too late!
GMC248, the 230 is already built. I have a stock 250 in my truck now with 82,000 miles on it. I will probably rebuild it later, although the crank idea could be used by taking the crank from it. Interested in other opinions about the 230. Haven't purchased yet. It is a 230 bored .030 over. Has an Offenhauser intake with two Holley 1 barrels, headers, orignal valve cover that is chromed, and much more. Owner has it in a show truck. He wants to go v8. He says he has 2800 in the motor and will sell for 1,000 to move it quickly. He gave me the name of the guy who built it, but I haven't contacted him yet.
