Hah! I agree with all of you!
I had an original GM canister on my Chev, stayed full.
Currently, I have a kranilator on my GMC, and the dang thing empties into the pan, just as Tiny describes. I can't check my oil, unless the truck has been running within a few minutes.
I'm going to replace the kranilator, with a NOS Frantz filter I have. Then, no more drain out.
