Here is my C-30 Off craigslist this summer was busy saw it paid $450. never really looked at it much lady claimed her late husband bought new . Got to looking hard at it and realized quickly that all of the flex brake hoses are new. Oil is as clean as bottled water. Antifreeze is bright green, so I dumped the gas tank out, put a carb kit in it, purged the fuel line, dropped a battery in it, and spun it over. It had no fire. Put a new set of made-in-the-USA points and it fired right up. It runs well. The locking ring tires don't look that dangerous, but it would appear that the outer ring holds the inner ring in place. The only time you would risk injury would be if the inner ring was not completely seated. Working on getting my nerve up. May slide it under the truck and hook an air hose to it. Let me know what you think, as I look forward to tinkering with this truck a lot.
