Here is what I'm looking at to do some trading on...

1) 1950 GMC 1-ton w/flatbed. 5-window cab, titled, sheetmetal is good, frame is eaten up from the PO hauling manure on it for over 40 years! Roller. Everything is there.

2) 1950 GMC 1/2-ton with bed, 3-window cab. Homemade divot on RR fender to accommodate a spare tire. No papers, runs with help, roller. Cab is so-so, bed sides are good, front clip is good.

I've been looking for an AD truck for awhile now, and these look pretty good. I plan on using the 5-window cab from the one-ton and building the half-ton int a nice driver.

Questions: What engine would both trucks likely have? Aren't all of the AD GMCs pressure-oilers? Would both trucks be four-speeds (I did not look at that when I saw them)? What rear gears is that 1/2-ton likely to have? Where is the serial number located on a '50???
