Yeah, when I changed over to the Rochester, I rebuilt my W-1 before I retired it to a box over 25 years ago. It came out of the box a couple of weeks ago and I dutifully took it apart for inspection and re-cleaning before installation. I was surprised to see that the pump leather was still perfect. SO far so good - runs like a champ. My thanks to carbking for his guidance.
