retired wrench 'Bolter R Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 160 Indiana	Feeling my way back thru the cobwebs of my memory I beleive I remember something about the points being different materials to compensate for the normal transfer of material due to current flow and if they were reversed the transfer would accelerate.I beleive this came from the delco course at GM training center in 1954.
