I know Chris, but there really was a penetrating oil called "Blue Wrench."
As I posted Alvin, I've used the ATF/Acetone mix and it works just as good as any of the
others, and as you can see, I've tried most of the popular ones. And yep the Acetone is
like lacquer thinner, gone in a flash. But it keeps the oil thinned out long enough to get it
into any open threads and that’s what counts. You do have to keep it in a sealed up
container, I use an old plastic Plochmans mustard squeeze bottle and even with it
capped it evaporates over time.
