Funny I should run across this thread exactly one year after I first posted it. I've been
having problems with that Standard Motor Products VR1 that I got such a deal on last
year from Rock Auto. The cutout relay has been sticking and I can’t nail down the reason.
So I just picked up another one today but this one was twice as much as the one from
Rock Auto. Hope this one outlasts the last one, especially since I've only been driving the
truck again since the end of September after a two year layoff, which means I only got
1,500 miles out of that regulator.
